The book was, as far as I reqahl, about a grkup of people inlwxvoekgxng a notorious hatived house. I cae't remember the span of time they were in thqre but over the course of the story, the hoxse separated them and the experience was different for each of them. In some cases it was perverted, and I want to say it was mostly things driwn from their past to break thnm. I think the front of the book was dark in color and I'm almost comzcqhed it was a door knocker that was embossed on the cover. I kind of get the feeling it may have been written in the 70s or 80s, but I'm hotvrely not sure. I was convinced it was Hell Hoyle, previously, but I just finished the book and the house tried to make them finit, but not phkildsply separate them. And it has some slight perversion, but not on the level of the book I'm reseedcezeg. It was prdvty dark for me to read as a kid, and I really want to revisit it. I keep gearwng a memory of someone being a dark room, alite, and another of the group is there too but in their indjufce of the rorm, they're also alzqe. The only otber thing I revtll was that it pretty hefty in thickness, a stlfyord size softcover bodk. Also, I doh't think it was A Haunting on Hill House, as far as I can tell she gave perversion a wide berth, or accordinng to Gobtge. But, it does sound interesting!
